While it may have been more a media event than a severe blow to the Al Queda, the capture of Usama bin Laden does not appear to be all that important. What was really important was the capture of the No. 2 or 3 man in their hierarchy; it was this guy was was the operational brains behind the terrorist attacks. Bin Laden might be the theological mind behind the group, but is less deadly than others. What the arrest of the No. 3 man proves is that this administration can fight terrorists while conducting large-scale offensive operations elsewhere, dumbfounding the Democratic critics, no difficult task.
