I'm not ready for retirement just yet.
I'll be putting my son through college very soon. I think I'm going to take a long vacation. I have a best bud in Arizona I may visit for a week. I've been wanting to take a trip to San Diego too. This may be the most favorable time for me to travel.

I'm sorry retirement isn't quite what you expected. My pop is in your shoes. He keeps himself busy around the house and assists with my youngest son's sports, but he doesn't have any friends his age to visit with. All of his friends moved away many years ago when Ford Motor Company shut down in San Jose. I wish you so much happiness.

Good luck with finding a job. I'm not sure if you've looked at obtaining city employment. I took a 6 week class at the local police station and met some retirees. They are working for the city part-time. Just a thought..
