There are some good flag poems and stories on the net. Maybe someone more computer savvy than me can post some of them here. The one I'm thinking of is called "I am the flag" or "I am your Flag."

Please also retire your old flags properly. Ours and a neighboring legion post will conduct flag retirement ceremomies tomorrow night. All you need do is to take your worn out flags to your local legion post and they will take care of it.
