Correct me if I am wrong, but was not our fledgling nation created upon certain guidelines and truths? Were we not founded out of necessity, to shatter the archaic concepts that led the old world to nearly total ruination? Did we not redesign the matrix of law, fight for our right to exist, and blend our sweat with genius, and tears? “Why then, I ask you, have we now resorted to taking orders from world-class failures, users, ingrates and fools?”

Worse yet, we have banked our very existence upon alien enterprise and failed foreign practices? And we wrote the book of success that these wanna-bes are now attempting to quote from - verse and chapter! The only problem is that a few of these integrity-less cretins, foreign and domestic alike, have long since forgotten who pulled their fat from the fires of oblivion, time and time again? Team players one and all, who know no loyalty, save to those who can not even spell the word appreciation!

Ah but then, the end justifies the means does it not, especially in the camps of those who claim a loyalty and appreciation that quickly evaporates in the face of power, money, profit and ego!

I thought that we had fled the Old World and it’s ways, in order to escape the stench of decay and social incontinence? But like the plagues of old, the infections of absolute greed, and total control, has followed close upon our heels!

The edicts and mandates of “Our Magnificent Founders” have, all to often, been bastardized by those to whom misplaced loyalties and limitless wealth, and not a gallant cause and mutual good, rules supreme!! For like Camelot of yore, it only takes one user, a “Domestic Modred” so to speak, to totally pollute the brew of truth and justice!

In this respect, the world has no shortage of contenders to the throne of avarice and absolute power gone mad! And if you doubt this analogy, I invite you to pay more attention to the rhetoric of those currently running for high federal office. Nary a word is ever spoken about the waning economy, energy rape, continuing warfare, or our loss of respect and international status? Rather, vicious, though in many cases true, assaults against political opponents rule the roost!

Could it possibly be that nothing good can be said about any given candidate’s qualifications, because in reality, there is not all that much genuine good to relate? (Just a question)
