First time I saw a chaplain he gave me the little cross and I wore it my entire
tour and for years after I came home.
I woke up one morning after a big drunk and fight and it was gone. I thought
so much of it I went back looking for it but to no avail.
It is the only thing I ever wore around my neck with the exception of my dog
tags. And I guess it was lucky, I came home.
