Well, that's what a lot of the JFK conspiracy theorists subscribe to.
JFK was shot because he was pulling the plug on Vietnam. I guess
maybe the mafia wanted to move their suspended Cuban casino and
bordello operations to Vietnam, (:>).

I actually first heard that at a Christic Institute presentation
that starred Bo' Gritz.

I was a rompin' stompin' Seaman Apprentice in 1963, and I never
liked McNamara then, not later, not ever. It sure took the
eggheads a long time to acknowledge that McNamara and his
whiz kid bean counters and body counters were jackasses.
How come dumb kids from flyover country figure things out
so many years ahead of the experts?
