Some of you guys applied for a job with TSA. Did anyone actually get a job?

In Seattle, I hear there is a huge labor dispute over overtime and other
issues, and even some supervisors have resigned their position. They are
also being investigated for improper or no background investigations. They
also had to let a bunch go after they found out they had undisclosed
records, and even let some go because they hired too many - or rather, the
contractor wasn't making enough money.

It's is very surprising that a lot of veterans and retired veterans applied
but were never hired or called back for an interview. I know age wasn't a
factor as I do know a couple in their late 50's, early 60's that got jobs.

Is this a classic case of discrimination of veterans?? I know Roger Perkins
was concerned as well as a few others.
