US veteran's letter: Joint cooperation for a better future

Washington, Feb. 16 (VNA) - "We must work with the Vietnamese as
partners if we are to accelerate positive change in this grand and
proud country. From my experience, the current legislation being
considered by the Congress would have a negative impact on the
relationships between our country," stated Director Jaime Vazquez of
Jersey City's Veterans Affairs.

In his letter sent to the US Senate Sub-Committee on East Asia and
Pacific Affairs as the US Senate's Foreign Relations Committee hosted
a hearing on the future of the Viet Nam-US relationships, he stressed:
