theoddz is right in that there is no such animal as "concurrent receipt" at this time. However, you may qualify for Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC). This program allows you to receive special payments from DOD equalling the amount of VA compensation you receive for those "combat-related" disabilities that equal a combined 60%. CRSC includes disabilities that are incurred "in the performance of duty under conditions simulating war" and "instrumentality of war". My feeling is that if your injuries were a result of working on the flight deck, you might qualify.
