The Aramaic words, awaley - meaning "ungodly," and eweley - meaning "babies," are very similar when written in the native cursive. Their translation, however, can cause confusion to say the least. For example, in the KJV, Job 19:18 it is written, "... Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and the spake against me..." This same passage in the Peshitta text reads "... Yea, even the wicked despise me; when I rise, the speak against me..." The latter seems to make more sense to me!
