I can still remember our first color tv! We watch the men land on the moon. That was such big deal at our house as so many others across the country.
Saturdays were outside with the radio or the portable turntable. Sundays were baths, early dinner and watching The Wonderful World of Disney followed by Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Then off to bed before the sun even set.
Heck trying to get my kids to bed before 11PM is a real trial!
I miss the wonder and specialness of TV shows and how radio was such an integral part of our lives.
