With President Bush and General Richard Myers touting a global war (literally) against terrorism, one that stretches nearly around the globe, from Pakistan to the Philippines, a
multi-front confrontation is fast becoming a distinct possibility! ?And for the record, was it
not the Pentagon itself that once stated that our new military strategy is one in which we can no longer involve ourselves on two fronts at the same time?!?
As no nation on Earth is totally free from the threat of international terrorism, not even the
United States (ref.: Oklahoma City, New York and Washington DC), does this not truly intensify the potential for global confrontation, or ?WORLD WAR? if you prefer!
As for any victoriously waged ?World Wars?, these blood-baths do, after all, make two things a certainty - ?Potentially Heavy Casualties and Political Popularity?, the later of which the ?Bush Boys? are very familiar with! And many of those who manage to survive these wars, certainly do offer a wider field of vested opportunity for the VA, do they not!!
As a matter of fact, General Myers has compared our righteous ?Crusade Against Terrorism? to an ?All-Out World War!? Was this a message or an omen?! Myers also said, and I quote: ?This is really serious business!!?
