The heavy-set fellow with the ball cap absorbed what looks to be about a $10 million left cross. If the player that delivered that hit had had a better foot plant it would probably have been a show-stopper, right then and there and the Jock?s King?s X wouldn?t have held off the guys with the badges and warrants. He had the wind-up and power going, but not the footing. Close thing for sure.
In South America they put a mote between the soccer fans and the playing field and maybe that isn?t such a bad idea. But it would appear that the NBA is taking a page from the WWF and wants to get some kind of ?Thunder Dome? deal going and until there is a serious down-side for the team owners, coaches and players, I expect the flails to continue. The NBA gate is down across the board and so are TV ratings so maybe some new ?excitement? is on the table, who knows.
