Extra - Extra, Read All About It!
According to Webster, discrimination is defined as: ?To act toward someone or something with partiality or prejudice!?
Granted, discrimination and prejudice has and still does exist here in the United States. However, when the pendulum of justice is rigged, and swings far too much to one side or another, that is reverse discrimination!
Now what do you call it when many illegals are granted free and easily attainable access to medical care here in the United States, while at the same time, some tax-paying citizens are denied any treatment at all? Well, according to a piece that I just saw on TV, that is exactly what is taking place in many instances! And as a matter of fact, on a recent program, both sides of this issue were aired.
On one side of this medical care issue, was an American citizen who was rightfully gripping about his son being denied treatment because of lack of insurance! While on the other side of the issue, was a rather well-fed Hispanic telling how she and others can attain treatment, even though some 60% of those seeking such medical care were non residents, and a full 40% were as illegal as they come! (at least according to the news piece, if I caught it right?)
Naturally - "A Token Bleeding Heart" was there to put his two cents worth in!! This professional American mourner quickly pointed out that these illegals are needed pick our crops, work in low paying factory employment, and to take on other jobs that Americans don?t want?
As such, he said, these illegals are entitled to free medical care and other services paid for with your tax dollars! Medical care, I might add, that has the County of Los Angeles alone, reeling under a multi-billion dollar deficit because of the granting of numerous services to illegals!
On the other side of the coin, we have native born Americans (my son is one), who have to present birth certificates, proof of residency, student ID, and even a pedigree of sorts, to even apply for medical care - and even at this, they are being denied treatment in many cases!
Now I am not saying that the sick and injured should not be treated! But it seems to me, however, that an "All American Kid" who was severely injured in a bike accident that was not even his fault, and is as patriotic as they come - a kid who wants to eventually design deep-space propulsion systems to keep this (his country) at the forefront of technology - and a kid who can trace his ancestry here in the Good Old U.S. of A. back to before the Revolutionary War, and who?s relatives have served this nation for well over two centuries (through most of our wars), is entitled to at least as much consideration as an illegal alien.
?Apparently, however, and according to the governors of two states (one not even born here in the USA), such is not the case!?
And as a matter of fact, one of those two states even wants to issue drivers licenses to illegals!! And through all of this and more, we still elect (and re-elect) these people to public office!? ?Go Figure!!?
