Our country gives us a lot of rights, rights that many other countries don?t afford to their citizens. But with rights come responsibilities.

Currently the vast majority of people in the military come from the middle and lower class. Our leaders might think a little longer and harder before using force to solve problems if their own sons/daughters were members of the military.

I really like what they do in Israel. Between ages 18 and 25 each person must serve their nation for 2 years. It can be the military, it can be public works, it can be an entire host of things but they must work for the government for two years. Even those who are physically handicapped might be mailing you your water bill.

Old Teddy Roosevelt once said, ?Every people have the government they are entitled to.? Translation: if your oppressed and do nothing about it, it?s your fault. Further, if you don?t give a damn about the U.S. why would the government give a damn about you? Finally, if the government can't protect you, dosen't have the man power to keep a good standing army, keep your head down, there's gonna be some serious crap coming in your direction.

Stay healthy,
Andy
