You'll get no argument from me (no doubt from many other: "UN-Connected" or NOT politically bent or sane Americans also) about so foolishly: "Telling The World" (and DAILY at that) of our weaknesses, best possible targets of opportunity here and security needed or lacking for same, troop deployment and tactics abroad, and what or how America will respond or react (or not) to any attack on all alluded to.
Damn,...Arrow. This politically-correct warfare and/or foolish foreigner pandering or over-sensitivity towards foreigners ABOVE ALL OTHERS,...is gonna-get-us-all-killed.
Such being why I've often said that: "If still The 1st Pltn Scout Section Leader and serving in Iraq,...I can pretty-much guarantee that I would end up in: "Levinworth". It would be inevitable.
I so state, since I could never order my jeeps (at my time) and people to go patrolling or riding in likely Indian Territory, as easy targets of opportunity. Scouts are best effective and do their jobs best, when never seen by the enemy. Not an opinion. An absolutely serious and quite deadly fact.
Besides, and 24/7 for 3 years I was taught much better and a much safer way of drawing enemy fire from a suspected fixed position, and thus causing the enemy to expose themselves.
Such being called: "Reconnaisance by Fire" and/or (4) 30 cal. machineguns doing some SERIOUS target practice on the suspect area.
If no fire is returned by an enemy, then it was recommended sending-up one of the non-radio machinegun jeeps to check the position in question, since more expendable than a radio/machinegun jeep. Hey,...that's what that Recon. Co. FM Manual says to do. So don't blame me about possibly loosing a jeep and three people.
Hell, and given all the perpetual and currently enemy gratifying nonsense displayed over: "Gitmo", it's more than likely that anyone sensibly adhering to the aforementioned or CORRECT way of drawing enemy fire,...would suffer much more than just: "Levinworth".
Such practical and sensible leadership of 11 other Americans in either Afghanistan or Iraq, would be considered A Hanging Offense by most DNC or ACLU type Americans and/or big brother type Democrats/Socialists/Leftists posing as Liberals.
Probably even their quite supportive and quite echoing mainstream press/media,...would similarly demand my hanging?
