The Yankee ("damn" the correct spelling) issue is a long gone issue. Just like blacks using the slavery issue to emphasize their opression today. The issue is today. The problem is with our government today. If we don't work on a change today, the problem will eventually take it's toll on the future and our children and grandchildren will feel results.
Its not a Rebel/Yankee thing, it's a People/Government thing. We're LOSING ground. literally! This is the USA! United? Work your local representative any way possible. Write your congressmen. What happened to "We the people?"
