Over the last months we have seen the southern border issue at least get on the politico?s topic agenda and not avoided like stink gas in a phone booth. But I still find it amazing that politicos from the States that are being financially slam-dunked the worst are fighting hammer and tongs against any form of border controls. A paradox it would seem but maybe not when there is the need to scrounge up names, any name will do, to ram into the vote registry. The military manning the border now seems to be a viable option but I wonder how long it will take for ?Poncho? Fox to start using his pistalaros and bandito Federalies to start poking, prodding, shootin and raising hell in protest. Not long I suspect and border towns like Laredo will get a whole new look about them.

Meanwhile, our northern neighbors seem to be getting a wake up call, at least the wiser ones, and all of a sudden find that they have a fledgling and ever growing terrorist safe haven on their hands. And according to their own internal security organizations, they are rapidly becoming a center for global terrorist?s organizations. Vancouver B.C. has been noted as the most prolific is spawning the greatest number of new headquarters. Hamas, Al Qaeda, etc., over fifty organizations in all, are all setting up shop there. Thus far the contest between the need for internal security and the need for the politicos to slam dunk the vote registry with names, any name will do, has been joined. But to date the politicos are winning that one, hands down, and wiser minds are being hooted out of Ottawa, big time. Heads up Pacific Northwest.

So it would seem that we have a choice of dying of pneumonia or diphtheria or recognizing the ever growing border threats and making a plan to have a plan. Tough times ahead and a new paradigm I?m thinking. Either that or do our usual nothing, nothing, argue, do nothing, nothing and hope for the best. Do ya ever get the feeling yer an expendable chip in a game where the cards are dealt to others and ya can?t win, quit or breakeven? Yikes, my brain itches where I can?t scratch. :cd:
