Families understand that in war, lives are lost in the service of their Country; but we don't understand putting our sons and daughters in harms way just going to boot camp. If you don't know why a Recruit dies in boot camp, and no accountability... the same situations arise over and over again. I think the gassing of our troops in training, whether boot camp or annual training is particularly egregious.
