Kenneth Eugene Sterling of 605 Ethel Road, died Saturday, April 10, 2004. He was the son of David Eugene and Brazella Snoddy Sterling.

He was a 1978 graduate of Greer High School, member of the 1978 State Championship of Greer High School and graduated from Denmark College. Mr. Sterling was an EMS Firefighter for the Westview-Fairforest Fire Department, Greenville City Fire Department, BMW Fire Department and the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport. He received a Distinguished Service Medal of Honor Award in April 2002.
