salmonella has been around as long as animals and humans have been here. To a healthy adult salmonella is nothing more than a nuisance, A slight fever and the runs for 2 days. Very young, very old and the sickly have a real problem with salmonella.
I get it at least once a year from uncooked meat. My fault. All poultry has salmonella, Unless you cook it to a core temp of 160 degrees, You will get it. I have a big bag of pistachios from Planters that I had last night and just a few min. ago.
Every year there is also Flu. If you live on Earth your going to get sick. And if your very young , very old, or sickly you may also die. Next.
