Just when I think my teen daughter couldnt be more self centered and spoiled rotten, she goes and and suprises me with her depth of love and kindness.
Kel started volunteering at the VA Hospital in Albany, NY this fall. Okay, nothing too amazing there, besides the fact that she LOVES to go and looks forward to each day.
Well tonight she comes home and tells me that she wants my help in designing Christmas cards so she can personally hand them to each veteran at the hospital.
And get this, she doesn't even work directly with the Vets so she has never met them. Doesnt that just make you go "Awwww"?
This one is a budding patriot! I'm so proud of her!
