“Whom do some of these people really think that they are kidding?”

Do they truly believe that what they are doing is for the good of “Our Entire Nation”, or are they self-convinced liars and cheats?

Or could it possibly be that some of them, even if they won’t admit to it, are no different than any other ambitious wanna-be despot ever to exist upon the face of this planet!
Granted, many of these self-created demigods even have themselves convinced of their righteousness and infallibility, but in reality, they are really no different than any other self-aggrandizing delusionary ever to exist within this reality, in my opinion?

And what a magnificent opportunity these people are missing to really do something of lasting worth and value, and not just to feather their own “Wee Little Nests” - for political power in itself is transient and fleeting, whereas the survival and advancement of our entire race should (and must) be among our primary concerns!! “Et tu, Brute?”
