I agree too many are lost in ever conflict. There has to be a better way than taking our finest into the field for every national interest issue. The days of Big Brother should be over. We can't bird dog the whole world. Sadly these 3rd world countries given the opportunity to make change - will never happen. They've been killing each other for thousands of years and will continue to this in the name of God. The best intentions are often the most costly. Our kids have done one hell of great job over there but I think its only in vain.

What has to happen is that they need to be educated rather than learn to turn on each other. 3rd world countries are unstable and poorly educated. They lack the lands and the opportunities to get out of their rut. Yet - they are used to this lifestyle its all they know.

Very few Americans really have a handle on how bad it is overthere. They've been safe at home doing their thing while our military goes off to fight on another land. We all go thinking we will accomplish our countires goals. We sacrafice ourselves for issues we really don't fully understand nor can we accomplish in most cases. Our leaders point the way and off we go. We aren't welcome in most cases and are really not wanted in their lands.
But we go and give our blood and our country gives them our money and we eventually get to leave - but guess what - it goes back to the way it was each and every time.

War sucks and conflicts are worse. No one really wins its a battle of futility. Lives are lost in the name of what? Parents and loved ones mourn their loss and it goes on and on. We need to let them kill themselves off once and for all.
