There is only one American from the battle buried in Chalmette Cemetery next to the battlefield. I don't know his name, nor where the other seven went.
Most of the British dead were buried in a mass grave on the southern edge of the battlefield. A river flood subsequently disinterred most of those buried and redistributed their remains throughout the delta.
