Russia and Vietnam to hold military drills

Russia and Vietnam will hold joint military exercises, in which the parties will work out the skills of commanders and staffs in organizing combat training operations, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.

For the first time, a conference on planning a joint Russian-Vietnamese military exercise was organized and held at the headquarters of the Eastern Military District. The meeting of the delegations took place via video link.

The purpose of the exercises is to improve the practical skills of commanders and staffs in organizing combat training operations and managing units in a difficult tactical environment, as well as developing non-standard solutions when performing tasks.
