Description:
(USA) Seldon Graham was born in Franklin TX in 1926 and was drafted in 1944. He completed Basic Training at Camp Wolters TX and Officer Candidate School at Ft Benning GA. He served as an infantry officer in Korea 1946-47 and entered the US Military Academy at West Point in 1947, graduating in 1951. He was assigned to the 112th Regiment in Germany, and resigned from the Regular Army in 1954 to accept a permanent commission in the Army Reserve. He graduated from the Command and General Staff College, Ft Leavenworth KS, and in 1970 from the Law School at the University of Texas at Austin. He became an attorney with the oil industry in Texas while also serving brief active duty tours at the Pentagon, including with the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff-Logistics (1964-68) and the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff-Operations (1971-79).
