(USA) Elmer D. Hale, originally from Lawrenceville, Illinois served in the U.S. Army in 1967 and 1968 as an infantryman with C Co., 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 4th Infantry Division in the Central Highlands area. He took part in the aftermath of the TET OFFENSIVE in and around Kontum and in the fight for Chu Moor Mountain in April 1968. Interview conducted by Richard B. Verrone, Ph.D.
