Imagine if you were a Commanding General of American forces serving your country while stationed in the Middle East. You find out that an American citizen has been arrested in Iran, tried and convicted for "Being a Christian" and sentenced to eight years in the worst and oldest prisons in the country. What would you ask your Commander and Chief for permission to do.
Yesterday Pastor Saied Abodine recieved that conviction and America does nothing accept print it in the newspapers, page eight.
Imagine that you were in command of the 101st Airborn with Special Forces units also assigned to the Division. You have the ability to request both Naval and Air support BUT your Commander and Chief does nothing.
Maybe he should have the Iranian Ambassador for dinner to see if he might have some thoughts in the matter after blaming those darn Republicans for telling the press at Fox News or just ordering every Christian out of the American Embassy in Bagdad and handing the buildings front door keys over to the Iranian Government. After all they need someplace for their Nuclear Armorment Department offices. Since Abodine was arrested in Bagdad before Americas national presidential elections in September, why was that arrest given nothing but a passing glance in the press then. Might it have carried some weight at the poles?
Isn't the President of the United States of America also the Commander and Chief of American Armed Forces and responsible for the security of the American people. Why is the Commander and Chief of American Armed Forces shirking his duty in defending America and Americans or is he affraid that he might not be eligible for another "Peace Prize?"
When might BHO step up to the plate?
