Something as seemingly benign as language itself has caused more grief during the ever-so brief history of humanity than practically any other creation of this race!

As a matter of fact, I am not at all sure that if we would have kept our lips clamped closely together more often, we would not have been in a helluva-lot better shape today than we currently are? Wars have even been started because some damned fool didn’t know when to put a clamp on it, and these wars have often seen the extermination of entire populations – some good, and some irretrievably bad! But who however, is to say who has the right to life and who does not – certainly not any member of our own species, but then that has never stopped us yet- now has it?

So here we are today – a race that is often teetering on the brink of extinction, with one foot sliding around on the ices of time, and the other, implanted deeply within the whims of Nature Itself! We know full well that our own careless and haphazard nature will eventually put an end to our often reckless enterprises – the only question remaining now is “WHEN?”
