I posted in the Korea thread that MOH holder Col. William Barber died in mid-April. He won the MOH keeping the southern pass out of the Chosen open. His company stopped 3,000 Chinese from closing the pass for 5 days. In 1968, Col. Barber was the 2nd Marines regimental commander. In July of '68 during an IG, he stopped at my weapons platoon and talked to us about life in Corps at that time.
