Nice to see this kind of thread Larry... so many misunderstandings have been afoot for so long...
One wonders, does it ALWAYS have to be true that history is written for the benefit of the victors? Yet, many histories of that war were written, and pretty much the same ones get taught to our kids (and us) decade after decade. Problem is, that way of going begins to read like a House built upon sand, eh?
