According to reports the 7th Cav Regiment is heavily engaged at the newly acquired Baghdad International Airport. As the report goes, they are turning back suicide attacks with an estimated 400 dead among the attacking suicide squads thus far. One report has a charging dump truck full of fanatics with rifles blazing rushing the 7th . Additional reports have suicide candidates massing near the Airport. The Iraqi defense ministry has promised a massive full-scale attack via ?unconventional means?. I?m sure the 7th is ready for anything but it does seem almost surrealistic that the 7th continues to be challenged by such desperate situations. Gary Owen Troopers-hang in there.
