Politics Never Ceases To Amaze Me, and even as what may turn out to be “One Of Our Greatest Presidents” slips into the annals of time, I still can not help but wonder how “We the People” can still take something that truly works, and then replace it with a big question mark?

I can not help but wonder if this was also what happened, many centuries ago, when the mighty Roman Empire, even with its catapults and spears, floundered and fell, as it exhausted its treasure and potential, extended itself, far beyond its ancient capabilities?

And if this is true, is “Our United States” also doomed to the same final finality?

“The same (thus far) has been true of all great and magnificent world empires throughout the passage of time, has it not?”

Truly great bastions of humanity have risen, and they have been toppled, by one happenstance or another, and each of them, in turn, have been replaced by the next eternal (?) empire – and so it is, and so it may forever be, proving once and for all that the only thing that is really eternal in this world is - The Word “Eternal” Itself?!
