HC - I agree - but the milk and honey isn't always
found in the United States.
-
There are resources that we need that "are not"
abundant or readily available in the United States.
-
Therefore - we go where the ingredients can be
found. This is where diplomatic negotiations are
made for resources that are needed.
-
And so it begin's - The International Trade Relations.
Of which we all know - is necessary to bring us
the raw materials we don't have.
-
In exchange we provide things they need. We can't
isolate ourselves from International issues.
-
We all know that.
-
This is why threats against us are always related to
world trade negotiations.
-
They have stuff they we need - and we have stuff
they need.
-
That way all parties can accomplish whatever they
are needing - and those other's who do have.
-
What ruined the world order was war weapons.
Materials for making bombs. The list grew and
grew - and then the material leverage came
into play.
-
Trade talks grew and grew - I've got what you
want and you want what we have. Tit for Tat!
What are you willing to pay for those items?
-
And so - The World Trade Organization came
into play. Leverage changed what was once
cheap or less expensive - now cost more to
increase their profits on needed items.
-
The key word today is Leverage! How bad
do you really need these materials?
-
If they know you really need it - how
much are you willing to pay for it?
-
It's always about Money & Profits.
-
Oil & Gas shortages are major players.
-
In the early - to mid 1950's I could buy
gas for 19 cents a gallon at a Ryan Gas
Station.
-
Today its called INFLATION as we all know
it. Hence $5+ for gas - it just keeps going up.
-
Labor issues kick in we don't make enough
money to buy groceries or pay the rent.
-
That's what its always about - MONEY
and PROFITS - and how much can I get
for it and how bad do you need it - from
the seller's to increase their profits.
-
They call it trade - but really its much uglier
than that! When War's start or Virus's hit -
suddently shortages increase - here's where
profits kick in once more - we see that today.
-
It's a fact Jack - we've seen it several times
in our past - and as we know it today.
Shortages and higher prices. Is where
Capitalism is at it's best!
