National Defence Bill
Watched to Pres sign the bill this morning, He said it was for 401 million $ for the next fiscal year. Which included, Bonus pay for special skills, Hazardous duty pay, Lower off bace houseing coast, Training, and a 4% across the board pay increase. The only one I really don't agree with is the across the board 4% increase, First of all, never turn down money and always say thank you. That being said, a PVT getting a 4% rase is a big difference than a Gen getting a 4% rase. What he should have done, (in my opinion) would have been to figure out what the total amout of money it is going to be to give across the board 4%, take that amount of money and devide it by the number of men and women in the armed forces and thats the figure each gets. For MOST it would be more like a 10% rase, for a few it would be 1 or 2 %. I would rather give 10% to the MOST.
But all in all its a good bill.
