Smoking Poem I heard years ago
This is a very old smoking poem I heard years ago
One Kool morning Miss Pall Mall was walking down Chesterfield Lane
She met Kentucky King
He took her to the Raleigh Hotel
He laid her on the Old Gold Bed
He stuck his King Size L&M into her flip top box
And if don't look like Camel in nine months
She will be a Lucky Strike
I heard this poem 60 years ago and for some reason it still goes over well.
Don't take O'fence it's a cute one and quite well written - by whom?

O Almighty Lord God, who neither slumberest nor sleepest; Protect and assist, we beseech thee, all those who at home or abroad, by land, by sea, or in the air, are serving this country, that they, being armed with thy defence, may be preserved evermore in all perils; and being filled with wisdom and girded with strength, may do their duty to thy honour and glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
