Trump's operating procedures
He's used to running a company where he had 100% control and the power to hire and fire at his whim. He knows damn little about political procedures and this is what is hurting him. He's not a team player as we've all seen - its his way or you're fired. Politics are give and take and more of a discussion to agree on all sides or at least to get it passed. He's not able to make that connection. He's in for a tough road unless he learns to compromise and reduce this threats to those who differ from his positions.
