Trav - I'd say they read some pretty good books. It's amazing how much you find out about your folks when there gone. I know I just finished my Dad's stuff not long ago.
After you removal the materials things - what they really called treasure was small and curious. It's like they say one Man's Treasure is another mans Junk.
Trav - reflect on these books and thumb through a few you may find some captions or notes where someone has written a comment about the subject they read. My Mom was a good for that.
