DJ - where I work the people in the other office next to us are all Jews. Three generations.
They frequently go back and forth to Israel at least twice a year. The old man and his wife have property there and here in states.

The wife said her last visit back home required two days of firearms training when she got there. Everyone is trained in weapons firing. She is knowledgeable in five different hand guns and four rifles. Her husband knows twice that many. It's a way of life they say over there. When a war breaks out the young ones go out to the front lines - while the home guard locks and loads in case there is another front to fight on.

Every house has its weapons and they know where the local armorary is if they need additional materials.

These folks next door have seen it all. Two of the women are trained nurses for battlefield injuries.

These people have been fighting for a long time and their limited numbers force them into life long habits found to be uncommon or unapproved here in the states. The old addage kill of be killed is very strong in that area.

Since working next door to them for the last eight years I've learned alot about the Jewish state of mind. They are all very well educated and two of them hold three degrees. Not to shabby.
