Besieged at Bastogne: Minnesota WWII veteran recalls Battle of the Bulge experience

On Dec. 21, 1944, Robert Potach celebrated his 21st birthday in a foxhole outside the Belgian town of Bastogne. It was several days after the beginning of the Battle of the Bulge. Potach celebrated his 96th birthday last week.
