Arrow MELVIN MORGAN - Korean War POW

CORPORAL MELVIN MORGAN

Is there anyone out there who was a Korean Prisoner of War with Melvin Morgan? It is my understanding that he starved to death in a Korean POW Camp on 6 December 1950! The North Korean commander of that POW camp was called TIGER!

Corporal (?) Melvin Morgan, my wife's uncle, was with Company L, 21st Infantry regiment, 24th Division.

Captured at Chochiwon, South Korea when he was 19 years old, on 11 July 1950.

Died in captivity - 6 December 1950

If anyone who served in Korea, was taken prisoner, and was interned with my wife's uncle (Melvin Morgan), please let us know?

Melvin was from Stanfield, North Carolina, born 1 October 1930!

It is also our information that Melvin's friend Jimmy Johnson, now out of Tucson, Arizona, witnessed Melvin Morgan's death in that POW facility? Mr. Johnson, now in bad health I am told, secretly brought out the names of some of the POW's that had died in captivity at that camp!

We are seeking any information for the family on Melvin's captivity and death!?

"PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN?!"

Thank You
