Hello Dad,
Its still Easter day your time, so I thought I would title the message as such. I was meaning to send out a few emails yesterday, but got caught up it business as usual.
We had a LLVI team get into a TIC (troops in contact), the top gunner in the vehicle they were riding in took a RPG hit, luckily not fatal. One of our guys pulled him down and got on the gun to lay down suppreessive fire. The other team member suffered minor eye injury and will return to duty.

Got you jerky, beans, and spices yesterday. Great timing, I cooked my
last batch a couple of nights ago. The BC and XO told me to give you a
big shout out for the jerky.Also got a box a couple of days ago from a Mr. Lawernce Nuckolls [this is our MortarDude!!] of Memphis. He said he knew you from Patriotfiles.com (which I can't get on for some reason). I sent him a home made (4x6 index card folded in half) thank you. Sure was nice of him, and good timing as well, he sent toothpaste and it just so happens that I had just finished the toothpaste I had.
