Question Indecision

3-16-2019

(more opinions)

“Either we do it, or we don’t do it? – We don’t just stoically sit there, acting like we alone have a grip upon truth or fact!” (hrt- 3/16/2019) Granted, prior planning usually does play an integral part in all things, great and small. But when one’s own indecision makes them nothing more than a reactionary, or even a twig that is caught up in the tidal flow, then our effectiveness is greatly reduced and diminished, if not totally eliminated in the bigger scheme of things!

There are, however, several other factors that alter, if not control, how things work out in a long run, and these include, but are not limited to, chance (luck), numbers, power, and preparedness. But the biggest fly in the proverbial ointment (in my opinion) is mankind’s mistaken belief that he is the alpha and the omega (the final word) in all things? For after everything is said and done, we are not all that mighty (comparably speaking), save for in our own imaginations, daydreams, and fictional accounts?

But then who in the Hell really knows for sure – as maybe one of the greatest attributes in man’s arsenal against the unknown is his own imagination? For that matter, and in reality, maybe this and our own semi-functional brain, is all that we truly have working for us? For if evolution does not keep pushing us along, or we ever do stagnate and become just another speed- bump on the road of time, then maybe we too will eventually become naught but another rut upon life’s road or a virtually unnoticed hiccup in time?

In Short – “Maybe we humans are not anywhere near as mighty or eternal as some of our politicians and other saintly leaders envision us to be? “And if this truly be the case, then in what direction would mankind’s history travel, for how long, and toward just what final ending – “AND THIS TOO, IS SOMETHING TO REALLY THINK ABOUT AND TO PONDER FOR A MOMENT OR TWO?

And Finally – “My Kudos and Applause to Those Truly Great, Imaginative and Creative People - Like Verne, Orwell, Serling and Roddenberry, etc!”
