Question Is There Anything At All That These Politicians Can Agree Upon

3-18-2018

In what amounts to a “Winner Take All” bureaucracy, I have got to wonder if there is anything at all that these various political parties can agree upon, no matter how sound or logical it may be?

Granted, our multi-party system does keep those vested little boys and girls of politics towing the line (some of the time). But why is it that even when something is in the best interest of most of our population, but if it rankles the feathers of one side of the aisle (or the other), it usually runs into a real manure-storm?

“Is there nothing at all that our lawmakers can agree upon, even when it is in the best interest of the people of The United States of America and her ultra patriotic people?”

Could you imagine what it would be like if our military was also divided along political party lines, or if churches had one side of the aisle for Democrats, and the other for Republicans, or if blood-banks only accepted Conservative Blood three day a week, and liberal blood on three other days, with Wednesdays reserved for Independents – “STUPID ISN’T IT?”

The point is that beneath all of the politics, beats the heart and the soul of a Patriotic American!

“And that is just the way that it is, and just the way that it has always been since 1607 (Jamestown, Virginia), and 1620 in Plymouth, Massachusetts!”
