Lightbulb Columbus

While reading a little book on word origins I came across the word ?Admiral?. It?s Arabic and originally meant, ? Lord of the sea?. Then I opened a biography of Chris Columbus and confirmed that he was at one point named Admiral of the seas and oceans. That could properly be translated to say, Columbus was the Lord of the sea, sea, sea. He should not be confused with FDR, who in the 1930s created the C.C.C.

Of course sea, sea, sea and C.C.C. aren?t all that unusual. By the time I was a senior in high school, girls were so important, my report card reflected that fact. I had so many ?C?s? on it, if it were read aloud it would have sounded like a hot Spanish couple making passionate love.

Columbus sailed for Spain and spoke Spanish. He had several lady friends. Among the many titles of the Pope, he ?sits on the Holy See?. So if Columbus were made Pope, he would have been sitting on the see, would have made women say Si and would have still been the Lord of the sea, sea, sea. I wonder what his report card looked like?

Not sure if I took my medications today? See, C, Si you later. (sigh)
Stay healthy,
Andy
