Californians think that drilling off the coast will mean more puddles of oil washing up on their beaches.

What they are not told by their "environmentalist" leaders is that the oil on the beaches bubbled up from the bottom of the ocean near their shores.

Maybe if the oil was removed mechanically, the pressure to naturally pump it out would be reduced.

Jordans United States Army Military Occupational Speciality require him to drive oil tankers to motor pools and he's been told that he'll soon be sent to Afghanistan where he'll be required to drive an empty truck to the refinery, fill the truck and then drive away with thousands of gallons of explosive petroleum just feet behind his head through streets that aren't well known as being friendly places for large green trucks with white stars and U.S. ARMY painted on them. Especially when that truck can take out so much real estate and the people on that real estate.
It'd be great if that gasoline was refined right here in the good ol' U S of A by friendly employed Americans, doncha think?

I didn't know there was a gasoline refinery in Afghanistan. And I'm not too sure that they even have any oil wells. Maybe he'll be driving form a POL point to a distribution point. And I'm even less sure what that has to do with the OP, a story dealing with the financial, societal, and moral bankruptcy of California.
