A significant increase in American casualties in Iraq in the past 25 days !!!

American military KIA in Iraq were 233 since March/2003
American military WIA in Iraq were 2195 since March/2003


as of 12/2/03 ( 25 days )

American military KIA in Iraq were 441 since March/2003
American military WIA in Iraq were 2472 since March/2003

This represents an increase of 89% in KIA
and an increase of 13% in WIA

In only about 3 weeks over casualty totals from the previous 8.5 months.

This leads me to several conclusions. Our efforts in Iraq seem unfocused. There isn't a clear exit strategy. This could be causing an increase in casualties. Since the news media and the Democratic presidential contenders seem to like statistics, it would seem they would use these to focus attention on what is going on.

I dont get into this type of subject to much, but enough,

Read the post under VN Lifers ( of which I know you have ).

These troops there now dont have the leadership that we did then.

That is the only explination I can come up with that makes any sense to me.
