Default Paw Paw times five!

Wow........what a week!

Just got home a few hours ago from Atlanta.

My little girl (my baby Stephanie......she's actually 31 years old..........but STILL MY BABY!) finally had her second child this past Wednesday! She was hospitalized on Tuesday morning because of all the difficulty she was having in the last month of her pregnancy. She went into labor late Tuesday night but could not deliver due to severe complications and they finally had to take the baby by C-section at 1:00P.M. on Wednesday. Baby "Stella Ann" (named after her great-grandmother) was HUGE at 9 lbs. 6 oz. and came through the delivery with flying colors! My daughter Stephanie is a small woman at only 5 ft. 2 inches tall and unlike her daddy very "petite" in some ways! So needless to say this has been a very difficult time for her. My "better-half", Jackie is staying in Atlanta for a couple of weeks to help out until Stephanie is back on her feet and able to care for Stella without any help.

Anyway, several of you fine folks have sent best wishes to me and our family and I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone.

This our FIFTH grandchild...............my Son and his wife have given us three and now Stephanie and Mike have given us two!

Ain't life WONDERFUL!

Thumbs up STEVE!

CONGRATULATIONS, GRAN'DA! Although, you're getting to be quite the veteran at this. Kath and I send our best wishes to Stephanie, as we can relate first hand to what she went through.

We just found out a couple of weeks ago that our daughter, Finnegan's Mom , is going to be a Mommy again. This will be our 3rd Grandchild.

Congrads on number five. Are your kids going for an even 6 pack?

My younger son, like your daughter, is 31. Still waiting for the first grandchild. Maybe your kids could explain to mine how it's done. :cl:

Hey, how much does it cost you at Christmas???

Stay healthy,
Andy
