How far can government control expand before it envelops even your very mind, instills fear of engaging in independent thought, and indeed, even turns one American against another? Granted, harsh times require harsh measures, but when a person?s private conversations can be intercepted at will, has not the line been crossed?

The media is relating the idea that government might some day soon begin to monitor e-mail, web-sites, telephone conversations, etc, etc, etc. This reminds me of the Japanese Declaration of War after they had already blasted Pearl Harbor. In the opinion of many, and provable at that, government has for years been intercepting materials by various means. Much, ?not all however?, has been related to crime activity and/or national security!

Of course, we have the word of the ?Powers That Be? that no such infringements into the law-abiding citizen?s personal life would ever take place - ?BULL SHIT!!? The break in at Watergate, a political party operation at that, aptly proved that no one is secure from the prying eyes, lies, record destruction or alteration of Big Brother. ?Beware rabid coyotes in lamb?s clothing!?

Of course again, history will (it always does) uncover such domestic-political betrayals! But by then, our memories have faded, apathy has gained a bigger foothold, and we are ripe again for the ?Bastards Of The Beast!?

No (True) American objects to (temporarily) ceding a few rights in time of national peril. But on the same hand, no usurper is ever satisfied with but a slice of the pie of control! As such, the power and oversight to control and abandon (when the need arises), certain Constitution-Bending demands made by those who seek absolute power, must be retained by 'We The People!' And any branch of government must be held accountable to the other two bastions of U.S. Government (Checks & Balances), and they in turn, to all of the people of this great nation of ours alone! Not accountable to some filthy and vested UN Whorehouse, but rather to the majority mandate of our people themselves - for we are the true government, and not those pompous stuffed shirts who are elected (temporarily) to enact our wills and our dictates! ?TRUTH & HUMAN DIGNITY BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE, SO SAYETH THE CONSTITUTION AND THE ALMIGHTY HIMSELF!?

Unfortunately, there are those who have lost sight of, or refuse to accept the mandates of Our Founding Fathers! ?And a soul or genuine patriotism once sold, can never be retrieved, not by money, power, connections, or political lies!!?
